Why platforms show Made with AI / AI Info

Instagram, Facebook, and others often read C2PA Content Credentials and AI tags in the file — not just the pixels. RemoveAILabels peels that metadata so you can upload a clean copy.

Export as-is

Image + AI label metadata

C2PA manifests, PNG parameters, and EXIF/XMP AI tags travel with every share and upload.

After RemoveAILabels

Same pixels, triggers gone

Scan locally, strip the payload, download. Metadata-driven Made with AI / AI Info labels have nothing left to read in the file.

How it works

Three steps to remove AI labels on one page — no account, no queue.

  1. 01

    Drop the export

JPEG, PNG, or WebP from Midjourney, ChatGPT Images, Firefly, Stable Diffusion, and more. Nothing is uploaded.

  2. 02

    See what triggers the label

We show C2PA, prompts, and EXIF/XMP AI tags — the metadata platforms read for Made with AI / AI Info.

  3. 03

    Strip & download

One click clears those containers. Upload the cleaned file so metadata-driven AI labels do not appear.

Remove AI labels before you post

Same tool, different surfaces — clear Made with AI / AI Info triggers wherever file metadata is the culprit.

Works with common AI exports

If your workflow ends in a JPEG, PNG, or WebP download, run it through RemoveAILabels before the final upload.

  • Midjourney & Firefly

Exports frequently embed Content Credentials or generator EXIF/XMP. Strip before social or client delivery.

  • ChatGPT Images & DALL·E

Downloaded images may include AI provenance tags. Run a local pass so uploads are not labeled from metadata alone.

  • Stable Diffusion / ComfyUI

PNG parameters, workflows, and sampler lines in tEXt/iTXt are classic remove-AI-metadata targets — we clear them losslessly.

What we strip

The same containers behind remove AI metadata, remove C2PA, and clear Made with AI searches — in one local pass.

What we do not claim

Honest limits keep expectations clear — and help you pick the right fix.

  • Metadata, not pixels

We edit containers (C2PA, EXIF/XMP, PNG text). Invisible pixel watermarks such as SynthID are out of scope.

  • Already-published posts

Platforms rarely let you rewrite metadata on a live post. Delete and re-upload a cleaned file.

  • Classifier labels

Some apps may still flag content from vision models even after metadata is gone. We target file-based AI labels.

Free AI metadata remover — private by default

Use RemoveAILabels whenever you need to remove AI labels, strip C2PA, or clear generator metadata before Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, portfolios, or client handoff. No account. No upload queue.

FAQ

How do I remove a Made with AI or AI Info label?
Platforms add Made with AI / AI Info when they find C2PA or related AI metadata in your file. Drop the image into RemoveAILabels, strip that metadata locally, download the clean file, then upload again. Labels on already-live posts usually need a re-upload.
Does RemoveAILabels remove AI labels from images?
Yes — we remove the file metadata that triggers platform AI labels: C2PA Content Credentials, Stable Diffusion parameters, Midjourney EXIF/XMP, and related generator tags.
How do I remove AI metadata or C2PA from a photo?
Upload a JPEG, PNG, or WebP, review the scan (C2PA, prompts, EXIF/XMP), then strip. JPEG and PNG stay lossless; WebP may re-encode to JPG to drop container metadata.
Do my images leave my device?
No. Scanning and stripping run in your browser with the File API. We do not host or receive your image bytes.
Will image quality change?
JPEG and PNG stripping keeps pixel data intact (lossless container edit). WebP may re-encode in the browser to drop container metadata.
Will this remove Instagram AI Info from an existing post?
Not in place. Re-export or download the original, strip with RemoveAILabels, then replace the post with the cleaned upload.
Is this the same as bypassing AI detectors?
No. We clear metadata and Content Credentials in the file. Pixel-level watermarks (e.g. SynthID) and some platform classifiers are separate.
