What is C2PA?

C2PA (Content Credentials) is a signed provenance standard used by Adobe Firefly, ChatGPT image exports, and others. It lives in the file container — not in the pixels — so it can be removed by rewriting metadata segments while keeping the picture.

AI labels in the file

After stripping, platforms that only look for C2PA or embedded AI label metadata will not find those credentials in your download. Use this for sharing or archiving a clean file.
